CHAPTER 119

She turned her head quickly, and what met her eyes was a familiar magic circle of light. It seemed like something she had seen before…

It didn’t take long for her to recall the memory.

'‘This is the same magic circle I saw at the emergency aristocratic meeting. But why is it in my bedroom…?’

Dazed by the surreal situation, she slowly closed her eyes and opened them again. Instead of the magic circle, a tall, handsome man stood before her.

Silver hair glimmering in the moonlight, eyes the color of the setting sun.

It was undoubtedly Teslan Reckard, the next Head of the Mage Tower, whom Iker had brought to help her during the aristocratic meeting.

"Teslan Reckard?”

Perhaps hearing her surprised exclamation, Iker’s relaxed voice came through the communication device.

[“It seems they have arrived safely.”]

"No, this is…”

Confused, Elysia was about to respond when Teslan, striding towards the communication port, answered instead.

"Yes, we've arrived safely. You must have been here before, right?”

[“I was invited to visit before.”]

“Invited?”

When Teslan gave her a strange glance, Elysia hastily explained.

“There was something to discuss because of the scandal, but it was difficult to meet due to the heavy surveillance. That’s why I asked for a short visit.”

“Oh, so it’s that scandal.”

For a moment, Elysia was relieved by Teslan’s expression, which seemed to recall the memory, but then his next words made her face crumple slightly.

“It’s not a scandal, it’s the truth, so it’s not strange that you invited Iker to your bedroom.”

“No, back then…”

"Ladyship doesn't have to make excuses.”

"Pardon?"

“Iker and the Ladyship are adults, aren’t you two? It’s possible.”

Seeing Teslan with an expression that said he understood everything, Elysia wanted to hit him despite his job as the next Head of the Mage Tower.

Fortunately, before her hand could rise, Iker’s voice came through the communication port as a warning.

[“Tes. I would’ve warned you.”]

“Alright. I was just joking because I’m happy to see you. I can take her right away, right?”

[“Please.”]

Only then did Elysia realize why Teslan had appeared—to take her away using magic.

‘I can meet him? Right now? Really with him?’

In the face of such an unbelievable reality, Elysia came to her senses when she heard Iker’s voice calling her name.

[“Elly?”]

"Yeah?”

She quickly responded, and a short but pleasant remark filled her ears.

[“I’ll be waiting for you.”]

“Understood. I’ll be there soon.”

Answering eagerly, she stood up and looked at Teslan.

"What are you doing? Aren't you going?”

Teslan’s expression seemed off at her urging, but Elysia didn’t care.

Now, just the thought of meeting Iker excited her, and her heart was fluttering.

“I can’t believe we’ve gotten this close in the meantime. Anyway, such is the way of men and women.”

Teslan shook his head as if he couldn’t stop it, then looked at Elysia and spoke.

“I’ll take you quickly, as you wish.”

"Thank you."

"But before that,”

"What?"

Thinking he had something to say, Elysia blinked, and Teslan gave her a sweet, mysterious smile.

"You'll need to give me a moment."

***

"We've arrived."

Elysia was surprised at Teslan’s words.

She had been nervous about the spatial movement through magic, but when she closed her eyes for a moment and opened them, the surrounding environment had changed in an instant.

Of course, when Teslan used his magic, a curtain of light surrounded them, but it appeared so briefly that it was almost imperceptible.

"The magic is amazing, as expected.”

When Elysia spoke in admiration, Teslan smiled lightly.

"As convenient as it is, it carries a high risk of misuse. That’s why you must be cautious with its use. To be honest, this isn’t exactly magic meant for romance.”

"Hmm. But where are we?”

Flustered by Teslan’s playful words, Elysia looked around, unsure.

Then Teslan responded with a light laugh in his voice.

"They say it's the Westein Temple.”

“Westein Temple? This place here?”

Elysia looked around again with an incredulous look.

Since they had rehearsed the engagement ceremony here yesterday, she knew this was the Westein Temple. However, the room before her eyes was utterly foreign.

It resembled a chamber built of stone, but the material was something darker and harder than any stone.

"As Iker said, it's an interesting room. There's a fairly well-made single-use magic circle inscribed here as well."

“…?”

"There appear to be two ways to enter this place. One is through magic, the other through that door. In contrast, there is only one way out.”

Teslan muttered some foreign words, then smiled faintly and pointed to a door in one wall.

"Try opening that door and stepping out. Iker will be waiting."

“Iker?”

Elysia looked at the door and started to move towards it, then glanced back at Teslan.

“Lord Reckard, aren’t you coming?”

"No. Iker told me not to. Said something about not interfering in other people's love lives."

“Ah…”

"Please contact me when you're done. Then have a pleasant time.”

As Teslan chanted his spell, a magic circle appeared at his feet and his figure vanished in an instant.

“He’s gone…”

Thinking again how wondrous magic was, Elysia approached the iron door. She grabbed the handle and pulled with all her might, expecting an iron door to be difficult to open.

Contrary to her expectation, however, the door opened with astonishing smoothness. As if it had been made very recently.

Exiting, Elysia was surprised by the thickness of the iron door. It seemed to be at least twenty centimeters thick.

“What a strange place. It really wouldn’t flinch even if a bomb went off.”

Marveling that such a room existed within the Westein Temple, she walked up the stairs towards the entrance where bright light seeped in.

Passing through another door, the chapel Elysia knew finally appeared before her eyes.

It was also the very place where she would hold her engagement ceremony with Dustin tomorrow.

Even more surprising was that this space, which should have been dark as night had fallen, was lit up brightly.

"Wow…”

Elysia found herself looking up at the ceiling and letting out a gasp of admiration.

Light orbs floating in the air at regular intervals were pouring down a brilliant radiance.

Having lost herself for a moment in that beautiful spectacle, she was brought back to her senses by Iker's voice.

"Elly.”

Turning her head towards the source of the voice, the sight of Iker standing before the altar filled her eyes.

He was dressed in a crisp white tuxedo embroidered with golden thread, a soft smile on his lips as he extended a hand towards her.

The fair forehead revealed beneath his neatly swept-back hair, his deep and profound eyes, sharply defined nose, lips that were neither too thin nor too thick—utterly captivating—a jawline as if carved by a sculptor, his tall, stately stature, and the firm physique honed by long years of swordsmanship.

Could this be the form an art god would sculpt with all their soul? Briefly dazed by his dazzling appearance, Elysia snapped back to awareness under his gaze.

"Come here, Elly.”

The look in his eyes calling to her was unbearably gentle, and his voice was sweet enough to melt one's ears.

Unable to resist the temptation, Elysia moved towards him as if enchanted.

As she placed her hand over his outstretched one, he grasped it firmly, as if vowing not to let go, and gently pulled her closer.

Their bodies drew near enough for their breaths to mingle, and a deep, subtle woody fragrance seeped into her nostrils. It was now a scent that made her feel secure.

Raising her head, golden eyes brimming with affection, like sweet honey dripping drop by drop, filled Elysia's vision.

"El…”

His lips parted as if to say something, but Elysia didn't wait to hear it. She reached up with her free hand, seized him by the collar, pulled him down, and pressed her lips to his.

Iker's eyes, which had widened slightly in surprise, soon curved into beautiful crescents, and his arms wrapped firmly around her waist.

As their lips parted and moist tongues met, they entwined in a deep, lingering, passionate kiss.

Their lips, which had parted briefly, met again at a different angle, connecting deeply. Intoxicated sighs and moans seeped out from between them.

Feeling her heart beat rapidly, Elysia lost herself mindlessly in the kiss.

A thrilling shudder ran down her spine and through her entire body. Excitement caused a tingling deep within her, and she felt the inside of her thighs grow damp.

In the indescribably hot and intense sensation, Elysia released her grip on Iker's collar and moved her hand.

It trailed over his defined abs, past the cold belt, and further down, where it encountered something massive, curved and radiating undeniable heat.

Elysia moved her fingers, gently stroking it. The response was immediate.

“Haa… Elly.”

His golden eyes, smeared with desire as he broke the kiss to look at her, were dizzyingly rapturous.

Seeing Iker unable to take his eyes off her, Elysia thought she wanted to have him.

The desire that dominated her mind was as impulsive and intense as the kiss moments before.

So, she spoke after exhaling her heated breath.

“Hold me, Iker."

"Hmm?”

"I want to have you. Right now.”

What does it matter if the place is a temple, when she wants him this much?

With a brazen smile, she stroked the bulging fabric of his trousers temptingly, looking at him with a gaze that asked, Can you still resist this?

Under Elysia's provocation, Iker's desire-drenched golden eyes darkened intently.
